Tasks overview
The task area of the software contains all tasks generated for your water services, mapped to each asset in line with the requirements of Legionnaires’ disease: Technical guidance (HSG274) and the findings of your Legionella risk assessment. Each task is customised to its relevant asset and location and has been created by an independent, qualified consultant with experience in developing suitable and sufficient written schemes of control across a wide range of building and system types.
Tasks include regularly scheduled monitoring activities, with frequencies set for each asset, such as routine water temperature checks, alongside follow‑up or reactive tasks triggered by those routine activities. Tasks are listed by due date and display the associated property, locations included, and the related assets. From the task view, you can identify critical tasks, see an overview of what is needed, access related documents, check task history, and review linked assets.
The schedule of tasks forms part of your written scheme of control for managing Legionella. These tasks belong to the Company and are specific to the property. Responsibility for making sure they are completed rests with the Responsible Person, who must make sure they are carried out by a competent individual.
Tasks can be grouped or selected individually to create a ‘job’ which determines what is assigned to the user completing the work. Tasks assigned to a user in a job remain visible on the tasks list.
The ‘Job Builder’ view provides an interactive way to filter and refine jobs based on task due dates or specific asset types. This is especially useful for larger properties with numerous assets, for sites visited less frequently, or where work must be completed out of hours or in areas with restricted access.
