Training overview

The training area of the software enables users to record evidence of training and monitor the validity of any competence related to their role in the Legionella control process, keeping everything in one central location. The system can also link specific training requirements to individual task types, helping to make sure that competency levels are aligned with the training needed for each activity.

Lack of training, alongside inadequate management and poor communication, has been identified as a major contributing factor in outbreaks of Legionnaires’ disease. To maintain effective Legionella control, everyone involved in assessing risk, managing systems, or implementing control measures must be able to demonstrate that they are competent, appropriately trained, and fully aware of their responsibilities.
