The Government has released a consultation on the fire risk assessors’ (FRA) profession, and it covers the following areas:
- The future development of the FRA profession;
- The powers needed to regulate the FRA profession; and
- Implementation approaches for competency requirements in the FRA profession.
This proposal relates to England only, and the consultation is lasting for 12 weeks from 26th March 2026 to 18th June 2026. Our fire risk assessors have submitted a response to the consultation on behalf of Assurity Consulting.
