The HSE stats for 2024/25 indicate:
- 9 million - Workers are suffering from work-related ill health (new or long-standing) of which 964,000 (50.7%) were reported from work-related stress, depression or anxiety;
- 730,000 - Workers are suffering from a new case of work-related ill health, of which 409,000 (56%) were reported from workers suffering from a new case of work-related stress, depression - or anxiety; and
- 7 million - Working days lost due to work-related ill health of which 22.1 million (59.1%) were due to work-related stress, depression or anxiety.
