VIRTUS Data Centres and Assurity Consulting have been working in partnership together since 2020. Assurity Consulting was appointed to work with the compliance team to supplement their existing internal auditing process and to provide reassurance their health and safety management system was being implemented at site level as desired.
Assurity Consulting designed a bespoke compliance program that fitted with VIRTUS Data Centres existing health and safety management system which additionally supported their growth as a company. The program covers fire safety, Legionella management, general health and safety, noise and water quality management. To support the program, Assurity Consulting provided Consultants with specialist subject knowledge, experience and understanding in the services that they deliver and experience within the data centre industry.
In addition, health and safety support days have been provided to the data centre site teams monthly to assist them in the implementation of their health and safety management system and the closure of any report actions, as well as providing support in drafting monthly compliance reports.
In using Assurity Consulting’s property risk management software, Assurity Plus 2.0, the Compliance team have been able to quickly review compliance reports and site management of health and safety actions and the Assurity Consulting team have been alongside VIRTUS Data Centres every step of the way.
The Assurity Consulting account manager has kept an overview of the visits and delivers work on the VIRTUS Data Centres contract, with a system in place to identify areas for improvement to meet their organisational goals for continual improvement.
