Vanessa has completed an intensive internal training period to satisfy UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) and ISO9001 for workplace environmental assessments and consultancy services.
She is a certified Institute of Acoustics noise risk assessor and an experienced auditor and has spent several years managing key accounts within various industry sectors. These include the property sector, charities and owner occupiers.
Consequently, she understands the importance of cost-effective solutions and tailoring these to the specific need of the building and customer. She has supported many of our customers in the development of their water management strategy, from policy through to review. Vanessa also holds a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and has held the position of Noise Service Leader at Assurity Consulting.
Prior to joining Assurity Consulting Vanessa achieved an Environmental Science BSc (Hons) First Class, University of East Anglia and she has worked as a Park Ranger for Mid Sussex District Council. Vanessa was promoted to Consultancy Services Deputy Manager in 2014 to support other consultants, as well as working in partnership with her Manager.
Outside of work Vanessa is kept busy by her three young children, but when she gets the chance, she enjoys spending time rock climbing. These days it tends to be on an indoor wall, but Vanessa has climbed all over the UK and as far afield as New Zealand in her younger years.
