Emma John, Consultancy Services Manager

Emma started out delivering Workplace Environmental Assessments before expanding in her technical delivery, becoming competent in health and safety services including, health and safety assessments, combined assessment reports and health and safety management reviews. Emma became one of our Senior Consultants before expanding her people management skills and becoming one of our Consultancy Services Deputy Managers, providing day-to-day managerial support to her Consultancy Services Manager and a team of Consultants.

The management of large customer accounts is something that Emma is very passionate about, leaning on her colleagues for additional support to provide the best customer experience to our customer base, specifically the major accounts she manages. The management of large accounts and the problem solving that takes place as part of this has meant that Emma’s technical knowledge has further broadened which enabled her to become Health and Safety Service Leader in 2023. This role requires understanding of up-and-coming legislative changes, as well keeping up to date with any key prosecutions or fines that may impact on the advice we provide.

Prior to joining Assurity Consulting, Emma graduated at the University of Brighton with Second Class Honours in (BSc) Physical Geography and Geology which has stood her in good stead for the analytical side of the Consultant role. During her studies, Emma worked as a florist and Customers Experience Host at a global entertainment business.

Emma’s interests include socialising with friends and keeping fit either in the gym or out in nature. Travelling is also a passion on Emma’s to ensure some much-needed rest and relaxation but also to learn about other cultures.
