At Assurity Consulting, we are proud to support ‘National Careers Week’. This is an annual initiative in March, that promotes education and encourages young people to make decisions about their future, run by a not-for-profit community interest company. National Careers Week connects students, educators, and employers to highlight the wide range of career opportunities with their aim being ‘to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support young people develop awareness and excitement about their future pathways’.
As a part of our commitment to developing future talent, we actively participate in job fairs, university, college, and secondary school career events. This week we attended the Therfield School Careers Fair, a fantastic opportunity for years 7-13 to interact with local employers. We spoke to them about what Assurity Consulting does, how we support our customer, the roles we have, what they want to do in the future and what their options are. The students were engaged and really interested about the types of career paths they could take.
