This event was an opportunity to show our commitment to community involvement while enjoying a day of teamwork and friendly competition.
Competing against sixteen other companies, a team of fourteen employees paddled us to 2nd place! The event was filled with energy, excitement and supportive cheers from our colleagues who came down to watch on the day.
Thanks to the generosity of our employees, friends, and families, we raised an incredible £1645. And a huge thank you to Celnor who will match our fundraising efforts and bring our grand total to £3290! This amazing amount of money all goes to the support of St Catherine’s essential work, providing care to those facing life-limiting illnesses and offering support to their loved ones.
Taking part in the St. Catherine’s Hospice Dragon Boat Race was an amazing and unforgettable experience. It was fantastic to be part of such a fun and exciting event while raising money and awareness for such a great cause. The atmosphere was incredible, with all the Assurity Consulting team working really hard throughout all three races, giving it our all and pushing ourselves to the limit, which made achieving 2nd place in the final even more rewarding. Overall, it was a brilliant day filled with teamwork, laughter and real sense of community. This is the second time I signed up for this event, and I would definitely do it again.
