Pioneering new standards with Assured Advice
After a scheme transition and a great deal of hard work, from the 1st October 2017, Assurity Consulting Legionella risk assessments will be offered as Assured Advice through the Primary Authority Scheme.
In a co-ordinated partnership with the City of London Corporation, a local authority already recognised as one of the most experienced in Legionella management, our report is the first of its kind for Assured Advice covering Legionella risk assessment.
Through the Primary Authority Scheme, local authorities, fire and rescue services and commercial businesses are providing organisations with robust and reliable regulatory advice. Our advice relates to:
“the competence and ability of Assurity Consulting to undertake suitable and sufficient Legionella risk assessments in accordance with the relevant legal requirements.”
This significant addition to an already extensive list of quality assurances and accreditations makes us unique in the UK, offering both, International Standard ISO/IEC 17020:2012 (against Water quality. Risk assessments for Legionella control) and Assured Advice, for our Legionella risk assessments.
The Assured Advice for Legionella Risk Assessments is categorised under “Health & Safety” within the Scheme and will allow us to develop further services to this level of assurance as part of the partnership in the future.
