On Monday 7th October, a team of four employees spent the day at The Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre in Crawley, for their ‘Make a Difference Day’.
Charlotte, George, Yvonne and Tahira spent the day weeding, re-planting hanging baskets and generally tidying the garden.
We were really lucky with the weather, with the rain holding off until the last half an hour, we were able to get lots of bulbs planted meaning come the spring time the garden should be beautiful with colour once again.
Marilyn from the Olive Tree was incredibly grateful for the hard work of the team: “Thank you for your time, energy and enthusiasm - the garden looks great now!”
Really well done guys!
The Olive tree are there to help. Receiving a diagnosis of cancer is a difficult, stressful and emotional time for both the patient and those around them. They provide a range of services to support patients from the point of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond; in fact for as long as you need them.
