The black-tie Awards Dinner was held on Wednesday 7th November 2018 at the Brewery in London, with Dan Walker from BBC Breakfast presenting the awards.
Paul Phillips, Director of Consultancy Services, Assurity Consulting commented, "I am extremely delighted to have won this prestigious national award with BNP Paribas Real Estate. To be seen as the trusted expert partner by our customer is very important indeed and to have this partnership recognised by the PFM awards judges is very special indeed. A huge thank you goes to our BNP Paribas Real Estate partners and to everyone at Assurity Consulting who make a contribution every day to our continuing success. The projects which were the subject of the award are on-going and will develop from strength to strength as we continue to work together in a strong and rewarding partnership.”
Our entry was based on our journey in co-ordinated partnership building a strong safety culture at BNP Paribas Real Estate. Our entry included the developments we had made in the following areas:
- Primary Authority (Co-ordinated Partnership) Assured Advice - Legionella risk assessment
- Creating a bespoke coordinated health and safety management plan
- Building a strong health and safety culture
- Enhancing competence through a programme of bespoke masterclasses
Reflecting upon the successes achieved so far by the partnership, Mark Coupe, Head of Facilities Management, Senior Director at BNP Paribas Real Estate commented, "I've worked with the Assurity Consulting team for over 20 years, at three different companies! Our relationship has grown in that time, as has the range of activity that we have engaged with them on from conducting risk assessments to training our people, from auditing our teams to assisting us with the development of our management plan. Whatever the task the team are always knowledgeable, enthusiastic, responsive and innovative. Bringing The City of London Corporation into the mix has been an excellent added ingredient. It's a true partnership that stood up to the close scrutiny of the PFM Awards judges. I am delighted to have achieved such prestigious external recognition."
Greg Davies, Head of Market Development also commented, "A big thank you to all those who have already passed on their congratulations and comments to us for winning the PFM Partnership Award for Partners in Expert Services with BNPPRE. With our team, we were pleased to be joined by members of the BNPPRE team and Toby Thorp of the City of London Corporation, our Primary Authority partner, at the excellent awards dinner, to wait in anticipation and then celebrate our success. As with all our customers, and be it health and safety, Legionella, asbestos, fire, environment, access or air, water and comfort quality monitoring, we do strive to deliver this best possible service. It has been doubly rewarding therefore to have the feedback we’ve subsequently received from people across the sector reiterating this. Thank you all again."
